Hi, I’m Maribeth Ross, thanks for stopping by! This blog is a place to talk about my world and my experiences – a cacophony of marketing work, life, parenting, interior design and the occasional soap box diatribe. My goal is to share stuff that is interesting, funny, educational and thought-provoking, though I can’t guarantee there won’t be an occasional really bad joke. If readers feel they take away new thoughts, ideas or perspective from this, then I’ve done my job.
I’m a veteran B2B marketer who has held just about every role marketing has to offer. My career has always been important to me, and I’ve always been fascinated with cracking the code of what makes customers engage, buy from, and champion a brand. I’ve worked with great companies of all sizes, with plenty of interesting adventures along the way. I’m particularly interested in integrated messaging and lead generation strategy and how technology is changing the way marketers can do their thing.
I’ve enjoyed sharing my lessons and experiences with the audiences of CMO.com, Chief Marketer, MarketingProfs and other publications. I also speak regularly about marketing at conferences and events. Contact me to discuss speaking opportunities.
I live in the MetroWest suburbs of Boston in a home I love to obsessively decorate (and re-decorate) with a sports fanatic husband, teenage son and 3 dogs we affectionately refer to as “the donkeys”. My non-work time is spent on DIY projects, photographing my son’s sporting events, gourmet pizza creation and drinking wine/laughing with our friends.
